Good Results

I had my CT and MRI scans today. Once again it took all day to have all the tests and hear the results from my doctors. I relaxed while getting my scans and almost fell a sleep a couple of times while waiting. Both of my doctors were pleased with the results and the doctor in charge of overseeing my care said to me “you’re doing outstanding.” To hear the great news was great for me, my family, friends, and I hope you! Last year at this time I was in the hospital because of my low blood counts and was discharged right before Christmas day. And as we heard the great news today we believe it is a great Christmas gift from God! This news lifts my fear and will bring a great Christmas break. I know I am surrounded by gifts from God as you all pray for me. And I hope you all have a great Christmas as well.

I give thanks to God,
Nathan

More Scans

It has been almost four months since I have had a MRI or CT scan. And on December the 18 I will be back at the University of Iowa Hospital for these two scans. I am feeling great, this is just one of the planned tests that I will be getting for the next few years. I would appreciate your prayers as I go through this nerve racking time, and that I will remain cancer free!

I have finished my finals and came back to my parents house in Iowa for Christmas break. I had my last final exam on Wednesday and came home Thursday. It feels great to be done with this semester because that means I only have one more. While I really enjoy going to school, I am also looking forward to being done as well.

This past weekend our church gave their almost yearly dinner theater. I was involved with helping to serve food and I also was able to go to the dinner theater one night since I was not able to go to the rehearsal. All the dramas and singing went really well, and the food, as always, was wonderful. If you have never been to one of these you should go sometime, for not only is it very entertaining, but it is also Washington Mennonite’s fundraiser for missions.

I pray that we can all experience peace this coming week!
Nathan
