A Good Week

This past week was great, and what made it so good was feeling healthy again. I always like my third week of my chemo cycle though! It really makes me look forward to when I don’t have to have a third week any more, but rather every week is even better than my third week. The highlights of my past week all are associated with the many great people I talked with over the phone, here at home, in restaurants, and at church. I had some really deep conversations as well as laughed a lot. But I thoroughly enjoyed each one.

The first week of my cycle is upon me again. I will be going to the hospital tomorrow and Lord willing will come back Tuesday afternoon; maybe even before lunch like the last time. I am tremendously blessed through the prayers of so many, which I am extremely humbled by and thankful for. As I go to the hospital tomorrow I will appreciate your prayers so much. Each time I go is a little nerve racking as I have a needle placed in my port through which drugs designed to destroy human cells and toxic outside of my blood stream are administered in hopes of wiping my body clear of cancer cells. I am thankful for this treatment and yet it still makes me uneasy every time. I consistently pray my chemotherapy goes as planned as well as kills many cancer cells. So far God has provided for me and I have the faith He will continue to do so.
