Little Information
I had another doctor visit on Tuesday, but like the last visit I didn’t learn a lot of new information. My last two doctor appointments seemed to be more for the doctors to check out my recovery from my brain surgery. While that is important, it is harder to wait around three hours every time I go to the hospital. And, I don’t have to wait three hours every time, but at times it seems more common than I feel it should be. What we are waiting on now is for my insurance company to give me the “ok” to receive the bone marrow transplant. I had a dentist appointment today to fulfill one of the last requirements for my insurance health care provider. As I become healthier I want my bone marrow transplant to start as soon as possible so that I am not completely back to normal before falling down again from more chemotherapy. If you could continue to remember me in your prayers as I am preparing to harvest my stem cells.
With love,
Nathan

PR Professionals In A Spin Over Bloggers
The world's spin doctors are concerned about the power of the Internet. Blogs, or personal Internet journals, created by angry customers are costing large corporations multi-million losses despite upbeat press ...
Hey, you have a great blog here! I'm definitely going to bookmark you!
I have a ##HSA## site/blog. It pretty much covers ##HDHP## related stuff.
Come and check it out if you get time :-)

Nathan,
Just wanted to let you know that you are still in my thoughts and prayers.
God bless you!

The medical community (Doctors most frequently) lose sight of the "person" and focus on the possible diagnosis or prognosis.
My prayer & those of my co-workers & church will be that they will take a look & listen to YOU the next time you go for an appointment.
As a therapist, we so often hear this story, & that a Dr. spends 3 minutes with a patient's chart, in the room, trying to make eye contact, then has to get out the door to the next appt.
There are many reasons for this, but the result is the same. The patient leaves in limbo, which is not beneficial to his healing, physical, or mental state.
We will put this little Kansas army to praying for individualism for your next visit. That you will be seen, and heard and responded to in a quiet and unrushed manner.

Hi Nathan,
In the book of Thessalonians, we are challenged to encourage one another and lift each other up in prayer...I'm praying for you to stay mentally positive and physically healthy. I believe you are in this waiting time for a reason...God is preparing you, and I'm hoping and praying He is healing you. Stay strong! Your faith is obviously your most valuable strength asset. We're all learning and growing spiritually from reading your blog. Thanks for always sharing from your heart.
Blessings,
Tammy Negrete
Psalm 41:3
“You always heal them and restore their strength when they are sick.”
2 Timothy 1:7
“For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a Spirit] of power and of love and od a calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.”
You are an inspiration of faith in the midst of a storm. We are praying for you!

Dear Nathan,
It seems like a long wait for the insurance to ok the bone marrow
proceedure. We don't understand the reason of the process taking so long-perhaps this will give your body some more time to make more good stem cells so the harvesting won't take so long. It's good to see you type your own blog spot again. We all seem to benefit from your inspiration as you relate your struggles and victories.
Today, as I was helping one of our after school students with her reading, she said she doesn't like reading. I had to think of you saying that wasn't one of your favorite subjects. Liked your humor about having to take the subject that you least liked again.
Love, Aunt Elaine
Nathan,
Wanting to let you know you are in my prayers. Can't imagine what you are going through. Continue to stay strong as your life blesses many other people around you!
God Bless
