Good News

Good News,
Just a quick update to let you know we brought Nathan home from the hospital this evening. Nathan’s white blood cell count came up and his fever is under control so the doctor said he could come home. We learn to celebrate these kinds of victories and to thank God for answered prayers. We are also very grateful for the wonderful care Nathan gets from his doctors and nurses at the University Hospital in Iowa City. They have been great. Thanks for your ongoing prayer support!!

Heavenly Father, thank you for your love and for your desire to heal your people. We come to you now on behalf of Nathan, who suffers from cancer. We ask you, Lord, to heal his body and to restore him to complete health. You are the Balm in Gilead, Lord, and you are the one who brings healing to our bodies, and you know exactly what we need in order to be well. Your Word says that you are the Lord who heals us. You take our infirmities and carry our diseases. You are the same yesterday, today and forever. Send healing on the wings of your Spirit, Lord. You have mercifully promised to be our healer, so we ask you to not permit this affliction to remain with Nathan. With all that is in us, we bless your holy name. You forgive all our sins and heal our diseases. Our hope is in you and we will ever praise you. Glory, praise and honor be to your name forever and ever.

Hello Nathan and Family,
We'd like to join other IL family and friends in saying hello and in letting you know that we are lifting you (all of you) to the Lord in prayer for healing and strength. We are also throwing those doctors in there too, as we are sure that you would not mind. We've learned this Summer that unexpected things can make a family grow stronger and know that is the case in your family as well. God's blessings!
Your cousin Randy, Patti, Justin, and Jamie Bachman

Dear Nathan and family,
We rejoice with you for each small victory! You are often in our thoughts and prayers. Our congregation is also praying for you. May God act to bring healing and wholeness to your whole family - and to everyone with whom this brings you in contact.
Shalom,
Ed and Gay Kauffman (Sean's parents and your dad's co-worker)

Nathan, I can only imagine what you are going through right now but I just want you to know that I am praying for you and your family every day. You will pull through, man, I am confident of it. All the best to you and your family, and may God's good and perfect will be done in your life. Press on, brother.

Hi,
My college roommate sent me an email about you, and I just want to say you have someone praying for you in Colorado. I work in a hospital lab, doing of all things, diagnosing cancer. So I see many, many people in situations such as yours. Cancer also runs big in my family. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family. May God bless you and keep you in the palm of His hand....
